2002 Camping Trip

All pictures taken with Mr. Zurek's digital camera. Click on images for a larger version.

Mr. Spinelli, after working in a grocery store for approximately a decade,
realizes that he could not distinguish between green decaf containers and red regular ones.

Setting up the picnic table. From left Heather, Carmela, Mr. Spinelli.

Miss Moini demonstrating the Coleman stove's selling points as she successfully boils a kettle of water. M
aster Caputo drank the cold water without saying anything.
(And she helped to cook all the meals. Without her assistance we would have subsisted on cookies and sausages.)

Mr. Ouellette successfully splitting a small log. Mr. Spinelli could not stop laughing at his technique.

What camping is all about. M
aster Caputo (right) and Mr. Zurek enjoying the fact that they did not need to know what time it was.

Miss Moini going at it hard. For this picture we utilized the zoom capabilities of the camera. There was no one within fifty
yards of her at this point.

Carmela surprised that she can split a log. The only alarming thing about it is that she split all the logs behind her, and still demonstrated the same expression after each successful swing.

Heather along with Rudy (left) and Quila.

Classic picture. Mr. Zurek philosophizing, Miss Moini observing, Mr. Mamaril flexing, strangely still all in the same pose.

From left, Judy, Mr. Wright and their two children.

Mr. Simmons noticing that we are taking a picture of him
, proceeding to take the baseball bat from his son as the latter desperately attempts to placate his father. The camera survived but the photographer did not.

On the weekend we were there, the RV grounds had a Volleyball championship with randomly picked teams. Mr. Spinelli (right) and Mr. Zurek both ended up on the same team. Unfortunately for everyone else, their team went undefeated.

Mr. Simmons (in red) and Mr. Wright playing baseball with their sons.

The main reason why Mr. Spinelli and Mr. Zurek's team won was... well, them. The rest of their team, as you can see, simply stood there.

Mr. Ouellette trying to produce a decent flying side kick picture for Master Caputo. Evidently
the Second Dan needs a lot of practice.

Master Caputo, Heather, Mr. Spinelli and Rudy relaxing.

Mr. Zurek was too busy posing to play.

From left, Master Caputo, Miss Erganian, Miss Moini, Mr. Simmons, Mr. Mamaril, Mr. Zurek, Mr. Wright, Mr. Moini, Mr. Spinelli, a friend of Mr. Moini's with Mr. Ouellette behind the camera (hence the awkward angle).

Miss Moini, Carmela and Mr. Zurek walking down the hill to the volleyball court.

Master Caputo ready for the beach.

Regardless of the number of times we tried to explain to Mr. Spinelli that there was a perfectly good basketball for him to use, he continued to hog the volleyball. The volleyball game currently in play outside the camera's
view proved to be rather painful for those involved.
